Plumbing Pumps & Intro to Bluetooth Communications
This class covers how water moves through a pool system plumbing size, flow calculation, hydraulics, and pressure and how variable speed pumps operate, including the relationship between speed, flow, and energy consumption along with proper installation best practices. Pool pros will configure, program, and schedule pumps, optimize speeds for common pool applications and peripheral devices, and set up OmniX on the VS pump to enable wireless, decentralized automation without a control panel.

Automation & Electrical Wiring
This class covers what automation entails and how to correctly select and size a system based on pool and spa equipment, features, and electrical requirements. Pool pros will install and wire automation controls, relays, sensors, and communication connections, integrate pumps, heaters, sanitization, lighting, and accessories, configure and program core functions including schedules, modes, Wi-Fi, interlocks, and water feature controls, and diagnose power, wiring, relay, and communication faults using schematics and live measurements.

Sanitation
This sanitization class covers the different types of sanitization equipment and how each one works, along with the selection and installation process, wiring, communication to automation, and maintenance requirements. Pool pros will learn how salt systems work and how salt water chemistry differs from liquid chlorine, how HydraPure operates along with its benefits, installation, and when a degasser is or isn’t needed, and how HLSense monitoring works including its requirements on commercial pools — then plumb and wire an S3 Omni panel with all three devices, covering wiring connections, simple automation and programming, plumbing configurations and best practices, and troubleshooting.

Heaters & Heat Pumps Installation & Programming
This is a class that covers California Title 24 requirements, how gas heaters and heat pumps work, and how to size a heater correctly for pool and spa volume, hydraulic conditions, climate, and application. Pool pros will apply proper installation practices for gas supply, venting, combustion air, plumbing, electrical, and bonding, verify compliance with safety and manufacturer guidelines, and wire and configure heater controls including automation integration.
